Job summary
Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment in Tucson, AZ seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee service, repair, and preventive maintenance of commercial kitchen appliances and refrigeration equipment. You will schedule monthly PMs, perform repairs, and keep accurate maintenance records, ensuring minimal downtime and safe operation.
The role requires EPA 608 certification within 6 months, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work with vendors and team members in a fast-paced 24/7 casino
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED plus 2 years experience repairing kitchen equipment.
- EPA 608 certification required within 6 months of employment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass pre-employment screens.
- Gaming license as required by employment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule monthly preventive maintenance inspections on all commercial kitchen equipment.
- Perform service and repairs on equipment; replace parts per PM schedule and record data.
- Coordinate repairs with supervision and outside vendors when needed.
- Maintain refrigeration units, walk-ins, and freezers; respond promptly to orders.
- Ensure safe operation of tools and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
- Maintain and restore work sites after tasks; participate in emergency responses.
