Desert Diamond Casinos & Entertainment in Tucson, AZ seeks a full-time Maintenance Technician responsible for service, repair, and preventive maintenance of commercial kitchen appliances, refrigeration, and related equipment. Under supervision, you will schedule inspections, perform repairs, and maintain records.

You will work with vendors, ensure safety standards, and respond promptly to emergencies to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 2 years of repair/maintenance experience in commercial kitchen equipment.
• EPA 608 certification within 6 months of employment; valid driver’s license.
• Ability to read and follow safety instructions and maintenance manuals.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC/equipment repair knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Schedule monthly preventive maintenance on all commercial kitchen equipment.
• Service and repair appliances; replace parts for preventive maintenance and record data.
• Assess and adjust maintenance schedules to extend equipment life.
• Coordinate with supervision and outside vendors; install new equipment as directed.
• Repair and maintain refrigeration units, walk-ins, and freezers.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain safe, clean work areas.
