Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and services all types of large quantity food handling, preparation, packaging, storage equipment and related systems.
• Installs, replaces and repairs valves, fans, motors, gaskets, filters, belts, fuses, controls, thermostats, switches, gauges, tubing, wiring, pipes, compressors, and control panels.
• Repairs steam pressure vessels, boilers and chillers.
• Repairs and services conveyor systems.
• Inspects and tests equipment and systems for proper function.
• Uses power and hand tools for assigned tasks.
• Implements an approved preventive maintenance program.
• Travels to school sites to diagnose and repair appliances and refrigeration units.
• Estimates time and material costs for tasks.
• Monitors work of vendors for service contracts and warranties.
• Maintains records of material usage and equipment service history.
• May direct an assistant's work.
• Requisitions, orders and stores parts and materials.
• Performs varied routine repairs to Nutrition Center facilities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
