Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Service Technician to provide on-site service for commercial foodservice equipment, including cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing systems. You will diagnose, repair, and install parts, while communicating with manufacturers for accurate parts identification.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of technical experience, a valid license, and willingness to participate in on-call coverage including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Willingness to be involved with emergency on-call rotation including nights/weekends.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing, and related equipment.
• Read diagrams and schematics, diagnose issues, and repair equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair cooking, refrigeration, ware-washing equipment and related systems.
• Communicate with manufacturers to assist with diagnoses and parts identification.
• Install ordered parts and deliver timely service per policy.
• Produce work orders, time reporting, receipts, and inventory records.
• Maintain safe work practices and tidy service vehicle.
