Job summary

PT Holdings is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment. You will work directly with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, and other commercial customers to keep kitchens operating safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related issues.
• Repair and maintain commercial cooking equipment.
• Service ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine repair solutions.
• Complete service calls accurately and professionally.
• Communicate with customers regarding problems and repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Keep service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized.
