Qualifications

• Previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
• Work with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, and institutions to keep kitchens operating safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues.
• Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment, and other equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete service calls accurately and professionally.
• Communicate with customers regarding problems and recommended repairs, and maintain service records.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer specifications; keep service vehicle and tools organized.
