Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC. is helping a well-established family-owned commercial interiors contractor fill a Superintendent role in Chester, PA.

This hands-on position bridges field and office, overseeing field operations, coordinating crews and RFIs, and keeping projects on schedule. Ideal candidates have strong communication, can read plans, and have experience with commercial interiors and related trades; GC/subcontractor background is a plus.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction experience required.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Understand RFIs and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication between field and office.
• Hands-on, reliable, and able to take ownership.
• GC or subcontractor experience welcome.
• Experience with commercial interiors, carpentry, drywall or framing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations and project execution.
• Serve as primary link between field personnel and the office.
• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, and site activities.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, and project details.
• Identify field conflicts and route through the RFI process.
• Maintain project schedules, quality, and productivity.
• Communicate with PMs, clients, GCs, and field teams.
• Take ownership of projects and solve issues as they arise.
