Job summary

Talently is seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent for national commercial interior, tenant improvement, and renovation projects. Based onsite in Philadelphia, you will lead field operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure schedules and safety standards are met across high-profile sites.

You will mentor field personnel, coordinate plans with Project Managers, and travel nationwide as needed to support projects in multiple markets. OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Lead superintendent on commercial interior, tenant improvement, or building renovation projects.
• At least 2 years of commercial superintendent experience leading projects independently.
• Experience managing projects valued at $10 million or more.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Willingness to travel nationwide, including overnight stays.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations and personnel on assigned commercial interior, tenant improvement, and renovation projects.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, laborers, and multiple trades on active jobsites.
• Coordinate daily construction activities to progress per plans and schedules.
• Confirm materials, equipment, tools, information, and manpower are available when required.
• Review plans, specs, schedules, and docs to identify issues and address them.
• Monitor jobsite progress, quality, safety, productivity, and standards compliance.
• Maintain daily reports, timesheets, safety documents, and records.
• Conduct site walks, assist in pre-punch inspections, and support punch-list process.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and client teams to resolve field issues and maintain communication.
• Provide leadership, independent decision-making, and mentorship to field personnel.

Must-Have Skills:

• Significant experience as a Lead Superintendent on commercial interior, tenant improvement, retail, or building renovation projects.
• At least 2 years of commercial construction Superintendent experience with a demonstrated ability to independently lead projects.
• Experience managing commercial construction projects valued at approximately $10 million or more.
• Strong understanding of Class A office tenant improvements and commercial interior construction.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades while maintaining schedule and quality expectations.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety practices, jobsite compliance, plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide, including extended overnight stays.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• College coursework or a degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• OSHA Competent Person training.
• Experience with sophisticated workplace environments, professional services offices, flexible workspaces, or institutional clients.
• Experience supporting or mentoring other Superintendents and field personnel.
• Residence within approximately 50 miles of a company office.
• Strong client-service, communication, and relationship-management skills.
