Franklin Street is seeking an Insurance Sales Associate to join our Insurance Team in Tampa, FL. The role involves observing senior producers, conducting outreach calls, and managing the sales pipeline in Frankie, while building expertise in our insurance products and target markets.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of commercial insurance experience, strong communication skills, and an active Florida 2-20 license or willingness to obtain within 60 days. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of commercial insurance work experience (commissioned sales and customer service) preferred.
• Active insurance sales license required by state or obtained within 60 days.
• Proficiency with MS Office and familiarity with databases required.

Responsibilities

• Observe senior producers to learn call handling and note-taking.
• Conduct outreach sales calls to prospects in Target Markets.
• Manage and update pipeline in Frankie; organize deal information.
• Create presentations and proposals for prospects and submissions for insurance marketplace.
• Prepare estimates for clients and prospects on new assets underwriting for acquisitions.
• Follow up on quotes and renewal submissions; support sales retention tasks.
