Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, maintain client relationships, and support renewals and policy administration. The role supports hybrid work with one day in a BIghampton/Syracuse area or fully remote for Eastern/Central Time Zone residents.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with an active P&C license and strong analytical and customer-service skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active property & casualty license required; CIC or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support retention and new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day admin tasks and client service, resolving complex issues.
• Renewals, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Monitor accounts receivable and pursue delinquent balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
