Job summary

Ollis/Akers/Arney, a long‑standing Springfield, Missouri based insurance agency, seeks an Account Manager for the Commercial Risk Department. You will deliver exceptional client service, review coverage, prepare quotes and bindings, and submit new business and renewals to carriers.

The role includes supporting advisors and maintaining accurate records in the agency system. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in business or related field and 2+ years in insurance, with CISR designation

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to interact with clients and internal staff.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing client information.
Capability to multitask in a fast-paced insurance environment.
Experience with insurance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional service and support to current and prospective clients, carriers, team members and advisors.
Review client coverage levels and policies to ensure they meet agency standards and carriers' requirements; recommend changes as needed.
Prepare quotations, proposals, binders, endorsements and coverage summaries for clients.
Submit new business and renewals to carrier marketplace per procedures.
Order and issue binders, certificates, policies and endorsements; verify accuracy and provide client documentation.
Provide technical support to advisors, including cross-selling and upgrading opportunities.
Perform general office duties and manage inquiries to ensure timely responses.
Maintain activity records in the agency management system and coordinate plan documents with carriers.
