InterWest Insurance Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to manage a generalist book of business, deliver high-level client service, and develop innovative strategies to meet our clients’ unique insurance needs. This role also focuses on enhancing and solidifying client retention.

The position can be based in Chico, Hollister, Merced, Redding, Roseville, or Sacramento, with a team that values service excellence and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 5 years insurance account management experience.
• High school diploma required.
• Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients for new business setup, renewals, and marketing.
• Understand insurance industry basics and company structure.
• Explain coverage terms and applications with brokers.
• Maintain accurate client data in the Agency Management System.
• Process quotes, changes, endorsements, invoicing, and policy delivery.
• Support billing issues and account reconciliations.
• Escalate client issues to a supervisor or broker when needed.
• Participate in industry practice groups and trainings to grow knowledge.
• Work toward CISR or equivalent designation.
• Maintain continuing education to renew P&C license.
