InterWest Insurance Services, LLC seeks a Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join the Select Business Unit in California. You will manage a Generalist book, deliver high-level client service, and develop innovative strategies to meet clients’ insurance needs while strengthening retention.

The role supports multiple offices including Chico, Merced, Redding, Roseville, Sacramento, San Leandro, Truckee, and Walnut Creek.

Qualifications

• 3 years commercial/general insurance account management experience.
• Education – High school diploma required; some college level coursework preferred.
• Excellent prioritization skills and organization skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain consistent and continuous communication with assigned clients, including tasks related to new business set up and applications, renewal applications and marketing.
• Engaged understanding of insurance industry and basic understanding of the overall company.
• Apply experienced knowledge and understand the extent and terms of the coverage offered.
• Engage in the service process in tandem with a Broker to support the client by establishing best practices and meet service expectations.
• Maintain current and accurate client data in the Agency Management System.
• Maintain timeliness and completeness of work when interacting with clients, agency, and carrier personnel to minimize errors and omissions claims.
• Account processing including review of quotes, policy changes and endorsements, preparing proposals, binding coverage, basic contract review, preparing certificate templates and correct policy forms, invoicing, and confirming policy accuracy for delivery to client.
