Job summary

Franklin Water Treatment, a division of Franklin Electric, is seeking a Commercial & Industrial Service Technician to join our Field Service team in Avon, Indiana. This role focuses on installation, maintenance, and service of water treatment equipment, with emphasis on safety and quality service to customers.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and 1–3 years in a plumbing-type role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• 1–3 years or more experience in a plumbing-type position (preferred).
• Ability to understand and resolve basic plumbing problems and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Follow installation, maintenance, and service procedures for water systems; evaluate and repair existing customer systems while adhering to safety requirements.
• Meet daily installation and service schedules and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.
• Assemble, install, and service water treatment equipment or kits using available parts and following operating instructions.
• Safely perform job duties, operate the service vehicle, and maintain a clean, organized fleet with tools and parts.

What you will be doing:

• Follow detailed installation, maintenance, and service procedures for water systems maintenance, including evaluating and repairing existing customer systems while adhering to health and safety requirements.
• Meet daily installation and service schedules as assigned, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
• Assemble, install, and service various water treatment equipment or kits using available parts and following operating instructions.
• Safely perform job duties, operate the assigned service vehicle, and maintain a clean and organized fleet vehicle with the necessary tools and parts.

What you need:
