Job summary

DOC Services Inc. is seeking a Commercial HVAC– Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Virginia. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC and light industrial equipment, while maintaining stock levels and reporting to the supervisor.

The role requires at least 5 years of experience with HVAC-R systems, EPA certification, and a valid driver's license. You will travel locally within a 2.5 hour radius and maintain safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EPA certification is required.
• Cross-training on additional equipment encouraged.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to provide own set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic and electrical components of HVAC-R units.
• Repair and preventive maintenance for commercial HVAC and refrigeration units.
• Locate source of problems by observing equipment and listening for issues.
• Provide daily reports and communicate with managers and supervisor.
• Remove defective parts using hand and power tools.
• Identify correct parts and close calls promptly.
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Maintain company vehicle.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with commercial HVAC-R equipment.
• EPA certification compliance.
• Other duties as required.
