Job summary

Reliable Heating & Air in Lawrenceville, GA is hiring a Commercial HVAC Service Technician to service, diagnose, repair and install commercial systems per blueprints and schedules.

The role requires EPA and NATE certifications, at least 3 years of experience, strong problem-solving and excellent customer service, plus a valid driver’s license. On-site position with occasional on-call service within the service area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EPA Certification required.
• Three (3) years of proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician
• Valid Driver's license with the ability to maintain a clean driving record.
• NATE certification preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and service software.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and preventative maintenance troubleshooting for Commercial HVAC systems.
• Install new HVAC systems, including heating units, air conditioning units, ductwork, and thermostats in commercial buildings.
• Work closely with the Sales Department and Commercial Director to ensure timely, profitable installations and service work.
• Diagnose and repair diverse service issues, replace parts and calibrate systems per manufacturers' recommendations.
• Communicate with clients to explain HVAC needs and solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Document all installed equipment upon arrival: make, model, serial number, fuel type, measurements, and photos as necessary.
• Inform customers of opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, and additional services).
• Maintain adherence to OSHA, EPA, customer and company safety regulations and rules.
• Travel to job sites in service area and coordinate with dispatch on schedule.
• Maintain a clean driving record and on-site vehicle condition.
