Job summary

Coho Construction Management at Fort Belvoir, VA seeks an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to maintain and optimize complex HVAC&R systems in a secure government setting. The role demands independent work, strong technical skills, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications include EPA 608 Universal Certification, 3–5+ years of HVAC experience, and proficiency with BAS/DDC systems; NATE/DC3 or state license and stationary/boiler licenses are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification is mandatory.
• 3–5+ years of experience in commercial or industrial HVAC&R service.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting commercial blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Strong understanding of BAS/DDC systems, including pneumatic and digital controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and industrial HVAC&R systems.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Read and interpret commercial blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot BAS/DDC systems, including pneumatic and digital controls.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
