Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a Certified HVAC Technician to support our government customer at Ft. Detrick, Maryland.

The role focuses on maintaining HVAC, plumbing and heating systems, troubleshooting and calibrating DDC/HVAC controls, and ensuring compliance with safety and EPA regulations. The candidate must hold a Master HVAC License (Unlimited) or a journeyman license with path to Master, plus EPA Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification and OSHA Forklift Certification.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and heating systems.
• Ability to plan and complete work with minimal supervision and with a team of HVAC/R & Building Controls personnel.
• Familiarity with DDC/HMI controls and field instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical equipment and HVAC systems in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Test, repair, calibrate and overhaul HVAC/R and insulation systems as needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic systems, including DDC controls and VAV systems.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and contribute to safety compliance.
