Job summary

CACI is seeking a Master HVAC Technician to join our Fort Sam Houston team. You’ll inspect, repair and maintain large commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including ventilation, cooling and control equipment, in highly secure environments.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with 3+ years’ experience or 12+ years in equivalent military HVAC training, North American Technician Excellence (NATE) certification, US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance. Travel and deployments may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years experience or equivalent military HVAC training.
• NATE certification required.
• Experience fault isolation and resolution of environmental systems and electronic support systems.
• 4 years’ experience with HVAC control and monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Track performance of routine and preventive maintenance and troubleshoot HVAC/R systems.
• Respond to service calls and document reports via CMMS.
• Respond to emergencies during/after hours and diagnose issues.
• Install, repair and maintain ventilation, refrigeration, AC and cooling systems.
• Perform design, modification, maintenance and repair of complex HVAC equipment and controls.
• Provide technical assistance for secure facilities and SCIF environments.
