Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Technician in Colorado Springs to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial HVAC systems. You will perform proactive testing and scheduled maintenance to ensure optimal operation and safety.

Responsibilities include installing and tuning control systems, diagnosing failures, and performing repairs under supervised procedures. A high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience; combination of education and experience considered.
• Meet the physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in application of work.
• Clear communication of straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems for building HVAC/renewal equipment.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment and ensure compliance with codes and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for modifications.
• Follow defined procedures and reach outputs under supervision.
• Operate with clearly defined duties and methods per established processes.
• Deliver output by adhering to procedures under guidance.
