Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks an HVAC Technician to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for commercial building systems, performing proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance across facilities to ensure reliable operation.

This role supports the Engineering and Technical Services function, troubleshoots equipment failures, follows safety codes, and collaborates with the team to implement approved modifications under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems for building HVAC, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and safety.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine best course of action for modifications.
• Follow existing procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
