Job summary

Engineering Excellence National Account in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to diagnose and repair commercial equipment, deliver quality workmanship, and provide exceptional customer service to our business customers.

You will read drawings, perform system start-ups, and support safety and integrity in every service call, with opportunities for world-class training and career development through Experts University.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in commercial HVAC.
  • EPA 608 Refrigerant license required; universal preferred.
  • Able to read drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, repair, and service commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Perform system start-ups and on-site maintenance.
  • Use mobile devices to support dispatch and service systems.
  • Ensure safe, high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle equipment delivery/return and maintain stock levels.
  • Work overtime or weekends as needed.

Engineering Excellence offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees and their families in managing their health and wellness needs, including:Competitive Pay with incentive opportunitiesPaid Time Off and Company Holiday PayMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance programs401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with company matching contributionsLife Insurance and disability insurance optionsSupplemental benefit programsWorld Class Training opportunities through our Experts UniversityCareer Development opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:Responsible for analyzing, diagnosing, and resolving customer concerns in commercial environments.Perform service on commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment as well as accessories.Perform start-ups on equipment as required.Ability to navigate and use smart phone to support business systemsProper use of all IVR systems and proper check in with EE dispatchers.Responsible for delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete service work.Responsible for providing excellent service to commercial customers and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction.Handle customer concerns, questions or problems in an effective manner.Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.Other duties include performing maintenance on equipment, servicing and/or cleaningIAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and performing minor field fabrication.Requirements:Experience in the commercial HVAC industryEPA 608 Refrigeration license, Universal preferred.Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various projects.Adept at servicing commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as related accessories.Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.Must be able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.Qualifications:• Minimum Experience: 2+ years• Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GEDEqual Opportunity Employer.
