Job summary

Mesa Energy Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician in Thousand Oaks, CA to install, inspect, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and ensure optimal operation of chiller and refrigeration equipment on client sites. You must have a valid Journeyman HVAC license, EPA 608 certification, and a proven track record with hands-on tool use, blueprints, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Participates in ongoing training to stay updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Compensation Range:

$56 - $65 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
