Job description

Job Summary

Journeyman Commercial HVAC – responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration, heat pump, and HVAC equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance (vacuuming, cleaning, filter changes, oiling).
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• Follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• Must have an EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as an HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Knowledge and experience in safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s license with a good driving record.

Compensation Range

$48.41 - $56.95 per hour. Benefits provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
