Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor based in California. We seek an experienced HVAC Technician to install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, read blueprints, and perform preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field experience as Licensed Journeyman in HVAC.
• EPA Certification (608) Universal License.
• Commercial experience as a HVAC and Refrigeration Technician.
• Knowledge and experience in the proper use and safe operation of hand tools, equipment, and testing devices.
• Participates in the ongoing training available to our crews to keep updated on the newest equipment and latest software for HVAC equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform duties with minimal supervision in isolated areas.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Valid Driver’s license and able to maintain a good driving record.

Compensation Range: $42.84 - $57.18 per hour The hourly rate is determined by the CBA/rate sheet and test results. Benefits are provided through local labor union aligned with collective bargaining agreement.
