Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose and repair commercial equipment, perform start-ups, and deliver top-tier service from our Farmington Hills, MI location. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC/R systems while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 4+ years in the HVAC field, EPA 608 certification (Universal preferred), and the ability to read drawings and diagrams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in commercial HVAC industry.
• EPA 608 Refrigeration license required; Universal preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
• Must have good communication and customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Service commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Perform start-ups on equipment as required.
• Navigate using a smartphone to support business systems and dispatchers.
• Deliver and remove equipment needed to complete service work.
• Provide excellent service to commercial customers and maintain high satisfaction.
• Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
• Perform maintenance on IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and minor field fabrication.
