Job summary

Engineering Excellence in Garden City, Idaho is seeking an experienced commercial HVAC technician to diagnose, service, and start up 5+ ton equipment and related accessories. You will diagnose issues, deliver parts, and ensure customer satisfaction while promoting our products and services.

Responsibilities include servicing HVAC/R equipment, reading drawings, performing start-ups, and providing safe, high-quality workmanship. Competitive pay with incentives and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• License in commercial HVAC (Gasfitter 2 or 1) with Refrigeration license (313A) preferred.
• Plumbing/electrical/sheet metal/refrigeration license is a plus.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial HVAC.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and diagrams.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Perform service on commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment and accessories.
• Perform start-ups on air conditioning as required.
• Deliver and remove equipment needed to complete service work.
• Provide excellent service to commercial customers and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer questions or problems effectively.
• Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
• Perform maintenance on IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and minor field fabrication.
