Job summary

Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Technician to service rooftop units and related systems at customer sites in Mishawaka and beyond. Youll diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, following safety protocols while delivering outstanding customer service.

Under minimal supervision, you will work with the Field Supervisor or Branch Manager to support the team, handle parts and paperwork, and participate in training to advance your skills and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years' experience in all aspects of commercial HVAC with NATE certification preferred.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by laws for the work area.
• Skilled at servicing rooftop heating, air conditioning, boilers and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Works under minimum supervision to perform commercial rooftop service and maintenance calls.
• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, timely, and accurate manner.
• Diagnosis and service of commercial HVAC equipment, ventilation, and related accessories.
• Inspects equipment to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Completes routine maintenance and equipment cleaning as needed.
• Delivery and removal of parts and equipment for service work.
• Record call information on handheld device and complete forms accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch to update status and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote products and services and generate replacement leads from visits.
• May train other commercial service/maintenance/install technicians.
