Job summary
Superior Energy Solutions is hiring a Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Augusta, ME. This hands-on role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC/R systems for regional customers, with a home-dispatch model allowing start and finish from home for Augusta-area technicians.
You’ll work on HVAC/R equipment, control systems, and refrigeration, delivering reliable service and professional customer communication.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R experience; 5+ years preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Solid mechanical and electrical knowledge required.
- Experience with service, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Maine or New Hampshire gas licensing is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment issues and determine repairs.
- Service and repair commercial HVAC/R systems.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, controls, heating and cooling systems.
- Work on ventilation and refrigeration equipment as needed.
- Document work through digital service reports.
- Explain condition, repairs, and recommendations to customers.
- Coordinate with dispatch to manage daily service calls and routing.
- Maintain a safe, professional work environment.
