Yellowstone Local is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for Morris Heating and Cooling in Indianapolis. The role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems, with an emphasis on efficiency and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience.
• Strong experience with walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
• Journeyman license preferred but not required.
• EPA certification preferred or expected.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance for system efficiency.
• Respond to emergency service calls as needed.
• Participate in an on-call rotation every 3 weeks.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.

Your New Role

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems including rooftop units, air handlers, walk‑in coolers, freezers, and ice machines

• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system performance and efficiency

• Respond to emergency service calls including evenings and weekends as needed

• Participate in an on-call rotation every 3 weeks

• Identify faulty components and recommend repair or replacement solutions

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals

• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations
