Job summary

JARBO seeks mid-senior level Commercial HVAC Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems across sites. The role includes preventive maintenance, start-ups, and calibration of controls while ensuring safe operation and thorough documentation.

Qualified candidates have HVAC service experience, EPA Universal certification, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• HVAC Service Technician experience required and applicable licenses or certifications preferred.
• EPA Universal certification is required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Self-starter with mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Able to climb and work at heights, in ladders and elevated spaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and start-ups.
• Calibrate controls and verify system performance; document results.
• Safely use ladders and work in mechanical spaces.
• Maintain vehicle condition and complete monthly inspection forms.
• Manage truck stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment.
• Communicate clearly with customers and uphold professional standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation and complete after-hours service tickets.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.

Preferred Qualifications – Commercial HVAC Service Technician

• Commercial refrigeration service experience.
• BAS/DDC exposure; light controls troubleshooting.
• OEM/start-up certifications; brazing and recovery proficiency.
• Tablet/CMMS work order experience.
