Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Commercial HVAC Project Engineer in San Jose, CA for a full-time, on-site role. You will support Project Managers and Project Executives to plan, coordinate, and direct HVAC/plumbing construction projects to meet schedule, budget, and spec.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in construction management (HVAC/MEP exposure), knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, and familiarity with construction management software. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in construction management or related role, HVAC/plumbing/MEP exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, building products, construction details, and codes/standards.
• Familiarity with construction management software and strong computer skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers/Project Executives with assigned project tasks and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate with field leadership and timelines.
• Monitor schedule and cost performance; identify variances and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare, submit, and track submittals and approval processes.
• Coordinate pre-construction details with construction, engineering, and estimating teams.
• Support estimating, bidding, and customer-facing activities as needed.
