Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Sr Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC construction projects in San Jose, CA. The role is on-site with a permanent, full-time employment and a salary range of $140k–$175k per year, depending on experience.

The candidate will oversee HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal and process piping projects from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating with field teams and clients to deliver safe, on-time, and on-budget results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Commercial or Industrial Construction Manager.
• Technical knowledge of HVAC sheet metal, hydronic piping, refrigerant piping, and related equipment.
• Experience with large MEP projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial and industrial process projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, schedule, and cost control.
• Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships through proactive communication and effective problem-solving.
• Translate project scope, schedules, and technical requirements into clear direction for field leadership and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage project financials, including scopes of work, schedules of values, labor budgets, and cost tracking.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving technical, schedule, or cost challenges as they arise.
• Uphold company safety and quality standards on every project and jobsite.
