Job summary

Kelso Industries in Utah is hiring HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technicians to support field operations across commercial and industrial sites. This full-time role focuses on preventative maintenance, inspections, and tuning HVAC systems for reliability and energy efficiency.

You will diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, read wiring diagrams and manuals, and maintain detailed service records. A high school diploma, 1+ year HVAC experience, valid driver's license, and strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC training or certification preferred.
• 1+ years HVAC experience in a Maintenance or Service role.
• Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
• Effective communicator with solid customer service instincts.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems running efficiently and extend equipment life.
• Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across a range of HVAC platforms.
• Read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
• Keep clients and team members informed on service findings and recommended next steps.
• Maintain thorough service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions.
• Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy.

About This Role
