Engineered Products is seeking a Commercial Account Executive / Outside Sales professional to join our Colorado Springs, CO division. The role involves selling commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems to owners, engineers, architects, contractors, and consultants, with a focus on building lasting relationships.

Under minimal direction, you will develop bids, cost analyses, and proposals, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with design engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 2+ years account management and/or sales/leadership experience; or equivalent experience.
• HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering or Construction industry experience required.
• Excellent initiative, interpersonal communications skills and a demonstrated ability to influence others.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity and manage high volume projects.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Preferred military background and/or experience.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrate technical expertise to develop credibility and trust with customers.
• Determine project needs and design/install requirements for HVAC systems.
• Write, present and negotiate bids; negotiate value and close the sale.
• Influence system design and produce high-quality estimates, bids, proposals, and cost analyses.
• Manage multiple projects focusing on selling HVAC equipment, service and systems.
• Build relationships with customers and manufacturers/contractors.
• Support accounts receivable processes.
• Coordinate with the sales team and inside sales supports staff.
• Assist in the development of the sales team.
• Keep management informed on progress and account status.
• Log Basis of Design projects in the BOD tracking system.
• Communicate shipping updates with Design Engineers affecting timelines.
• Distribute IOMs and submittals to Project Managers.
• Communicate project status and engineering concerns to management.
• Assist with Distribution of engineering submittals from Design firms.
