BGIS Integrated Technical Services (ITS) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial HVAC Installer Technician to join our team in Tampa, FL, and surrounding areas. Compensation & Benefits
Competitive Hourly Rate: $30–$40 per hour ($62,400–$83,200 annual base salary)
Overtime is authorized: with approval from the Supervisor
Per diem: $55 per day and lodging will be provided for authorized out-of-town travel and service.
Paid Time Off: 48 hours (increases to 168 hours with tenure)
Paid Holidays: 7 per year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
401(k) Match: 5% employer match
3&3 Tech Flex Program: Choose one of the following:
$3,500 cash bonus
40 additional hours of floating holidays
$3,500 in technical training
Note: For mid-plan year hires, the cash bonus option is pro-rated; complete plan details provided after start date

Your Role as a Commercial HVAC Installer Technician
As a Commercial HVAC Installer Technician, You Will Play a Critical Role In Installing And Maintaining HVAC Systems To Ensure Optimal Performance And Client Satisfaction. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Performing routine maintenance, replacing parts, and installing HVAC systems, including split systems and packaged units.
Conducting system replacement installations with precision and attention to detail.
Utilizing pipefitting, brazing, and soldering techniques to ensure proper installation and connection of refrigerant piping.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues during installation to ensure system functionality.
Maintaining accurate measurements and fittings for high-quality installations.
Delivering exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and communicating effectively.
Managing time efficiently to meet project deadlines and adapt to various HVAC systems and technologies.
Collaborating with dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources to ensure seamless operations.
Adhering to safety protocols, industry guidelines, and company standards.
Completing work orders and service reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required:
3–5 years of demonstrated experience in HVAC system replacement installations
EPA Certification
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass drug, background, and driver’s license checks
Preferred:
Completion of a relevant apprenticeship
Physical Requirements:
Ability to climb and descend ladders while carrying up to 30 lbs.
Lift up to 75 lbs. and maneuver in confined spaces (e.g., crawlspaces, attics)
Willingness to wear required PPE
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work overtime and travel as needed for training, meetings, or client-site visits
Ability to meet enhanced security clearance requirements
Skills & Abilities:
Strong technical proficiency in HVAC systems and equipment installation, including electrical and mechanical components
Expertise in pipefitting, brazing, and soldering for refrigerant piping
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve installation issues
Exceptional attention to detail for precise measurements and fittings
Excellent communication and customer service skills for client interactions
Strong time management and adaptability to various HVAC systems and technologies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision
Familiarity with industry software is a plus but not required
