Job Details

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling units for residential customers. Diagnose and repair of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of these systems.
• Travel to homes on a daily basis as scheduled.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure HVAC systems and components are in good working order.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers about necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Keep records of service calls and work performed.
• Maintain parts inventory and company vehicle.
• Stay current with latest developments, advancements, and trends in the HVAC field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, and maintaining personal networks.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician or similar role.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficient in diagnosing and repairing electronic, mechanical, and electrical components of residential HVAC systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Able to handle a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• NATE certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of current HVAC codes and industry standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be willing to work with a team or alone as the job necessitates.
• Must be able to work on-call, evenings, and weekends when necessary.
