Job summary

Engineering Excellence is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to diagnose and repair commercial heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems, perform startups, and deliver exceptional customer service.

You will use mobile apps for dispatch, manage truck stock, and uphold safety and quality standards in a Columbus, OH workplace. A EPA 608 license is preferred, with 2+ years of experience in the field.

Qualifications

• Experience in the commercial HVAC industry.
• EPA 608 Refrigeration license, Universal preferred.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams.
• The ability to work overtime and weekend hours as required.
• Background check requirements will apply.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer concerns in commercial environments.
• Service commercial HVAC equipment and perform start-ups as required.
• Navigate smartphones to support business systems and dispatch.
• Coordinate delivery and removal of equipment needed to complete service work.
• Provide excellent service to commercial customers and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Prepare material requisition forms to ensure proper truck stock levels.
• Perform maintenance on equipment, servicing, and cleaning as needed.
• Work with IAQ products, soldering, welding, brazing, and minor field fabrication.
