Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial HVAC estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, materials, and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, mechanical plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Experience preparing competitive commercial bid proposals and project budgets.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Mathematical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates, priorities, and bid deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for commercial HVAC projects
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform material, equipment, and labor takeoffs
• Develop project budgets, proposals, and bid packages
• Build and maintain estimating worksheets and cost breakdowns in Microsoft Excel
• Communicate with contractors, customers, vendors, and internal teams
• Coordinate with project management and field teams on awarded projects
