Job summary

Kelso Building Services, a division of Kelso Industries, is seeking a Commercial HVAC Business Development Representative to grow our presence in the commercial facilities market across the United States. The role focuses on building new client relationships, uncovering HVAC service opportunities, and partnering with organizations to improve building performance and occupant comfort.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in business development, commercial sales, HVAC sales, mechanical services, facilities services, or a related B2B environment.
  • Understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, preventative maintenance programs, or building mechanical systems.
  • Strong prospecting, relationship management, and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with internal teams.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and generate new business opportunities.

  • Clearly communicate the advantages and value of proposed solutions.
  • Prepare service agreements, project proposals, and pricing packages tailored to customer objectives.
  • Assist customers through the review and decision-making process.
  • Track progress of opportunities and maintain accurate records within CRM systems.
  • Negotiate and close agreements that support company growth objectives.
  • Partner with operations, estimating, service, and installation departments to support successful project delivery.
  • Ensure accurate communication of customer expectations and project details.
  • Help create a seamless experience from initial contact through project completion.
  • Meet or exceed established sales and revenue goals.

Primary Responsibilities
