Bosch is seeking an Engineering Trainer - Commercial HVAC Applications to empower engineers, design-build contractors, and bid-spec reps with the knowledge to specify Bosch HVAC solutions. The role focuses on light commercial rooftops, WSHP systems, and VRF technology, with up to 30% travel across the US and Canada.

This mid-level position requires strong presentation skills and a passion for shaping building design.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HVAC experience in commercial design and application.
• Experience with engineering firms and a deep understanding of bid-spec processes.
• Expertise in system design and specification for light commercial rooftops, WSHP, and 3‑phase VRF.
• Proven experience in technical training, application engineering, or specification-focused sales.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills for conveying complex technical information to engineers.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 30% in US/Canada.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver high-level technical presentations, seminars, and workshops for engineering firms and design professionals.
• Create and maintain a library of technical sales and design tools, including guides, tutorials, BIM objects, and master specifications.
• Translate complex product features into compelling performance and application benefits for design and specification.
• Deliver training on our expanded portfolio including light commercial RTUs, Hitachi VRF, and Bosch WSHP systems, and discuss electrification and low-GWP refrigerants.
• Act as a go-to technical authority for Bosch's commercial HVAC systems, guiding internal teams and external partners.
• Support the specification community with system design, energy modeling, and project-specific specifications.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Quality on new products and building code updates (ASHRAE 90.1).
• Engage with manufacturers' reps and distribution partners to support engineering firms.
• Develop content for industry events, trade shows, and professional organizations to promote Bosch's leadership.
• Gather and analyze engineering feedback to inform product development and competitive positioning.
