Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician

Join our expanding team at S&K Building Services as a Commercial High-Rise Window Cleaning Technician! Support our client, Great Lakes Window Cleaning in Detroit, MI, by safely cleaning high-rise windows using rope descent systems. We offer training and opportunities for advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Clean windows and glass surfaces using non-abrasive tools
• Safely descend from high-rise buildings via rope systems to reach windows
• Communicate with site contacts and obtain work approvals
• Transport, set up, and break down water-fed poles for cleaning
• Clean up site after work completion
• Maintain company vehicle and supplies
• Attend weekly safety meetings

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience safely working at high elevations
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Professional appearance and adherence to dress code
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders up to 40 ft (training provided)
• Work outdoors and indoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong ethical standards and teamwork skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Certified or authorized in Rope Descent Systems (RDS)
• SPRAT certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
