We are seeking an experienced Commercial Garage Door Technician for a part-time, on-call position. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who wants flexible work with reliable pay. We provide commercial repair and installation services across Charlotte and the Piedmont Triad area.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial overhead and roll-up garage doors
• Install new doors, tracks, openers, and related hardware
• Diagnose issues with motors, tracks, springs, and sensors
• Perform routine service and safety inspections
• Communicate clearly with clients and office staff regarding work status and materials needed
• Complete service tickets and documentation after each job

Requirements:

• Prior experience servicing and installing commercial garage doors (minimum 5 years)
• Familiarity with a range of brands and commercial door systems
• Must have your own tools and reliable work vehicle
• Availability for on-call assignments, including occasional evenings or weekends
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Must be professional, punctual, and customer-focused
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally
