We are seeking an experienced Commercial Garage Door Technician for a part-time, on-call position. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who wants flexible work with reliable pay. We provide commercial repair and installation services across Charlotte and the Piedmont Triad area.

Responsibilities:

1. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial overhead and roll-up garage doors
2. Install new doors, tracks, openers, and related hardware
3. Diagnose issues with motors, tracks, springs, and sensors
4. Perform routine service and safety inspections
5. Communicate clearly with clients and office staff regarding work status and materials needed
6. Complete service tickets and documentation after each job

Requirements:

1. Prior experience servicing and installing commercial garage doors (minimum 5 years preferred)
2. Familiarity with a range of brands and commercial door systems
3. Must have your own tools and reliable work vehicle
4. Availability for on-call assignments, including occasional evenings or weekends
5. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
6. Must be professional, punctual, and customer-focused
7. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with emergency service calls
2. Knowledge of door access systems, safety sensors, and motorized openers
3. OSHA certification or relevant safety training a plus
