Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical school training a plus
• 3+ years electrical/electronic equipment experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Ability to operate hand and power tools
• Ability to operate a fleet vehicle safely
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Installs devices and dismantles/reconstructs equipment as required by customers
• Works safely to prevent injuries and damage
• Contacts customers before installation to verify schedule
• Prepares estimates per supervisor instructions
• Follows wiring diagrams and hookup procedures
• Tests system operation and ensures proper service
• Reads building electrical and sprinkler blueprints
• Coordinates with police/fire departments for notifications
• May manage installation teams on larger projects
• Coaches and mentors less experienced installers
