Johnson Controls seeks a Commercial Installer to set up and program Integrated Security fire and security systems on-site for commercial customers. You will dismantle and reconstruct equipment when needed, ensuring safety and quality on every installation.

You will read blueprints, follow wiring diagrams, and coordinate with customers and authorities. The role includes mentoring less experienced installers on larger projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years electrical and electronic equipment experience with mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools and a fleet vehicle safely.

Responsibilities

• Install and program Integrated Security fire and security systems on-site for commercial customers.
• Dismantle and reconstruct equipment when needed.
• Coordinate installations with customers and authorities as required.
• Coach and mentor less experienced installers on larger projects.
