Johnson Controls, Inc. is hiring a Commercial Installer to work onsite with commercial customers, setting up and programming integrated security fire and security systems. The role includes dismantling and reconstructing equipment as needed.

The position requires 5+ years of electrical/electronic experience, ability to read blueprints, operate hand/power tools, and provide excellent customer service. Training is provided, and a company vehicle may be offered where applicable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electrical and electronic equipment experience with demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Ability to communicate and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Installs devices and dismantles/reconstructs equipment as required.
• Works safely and cleans up installation debris.
• Contacts customers to verify installation schedule.
• Prepares estimates per supervisor directions.
• Follows wiring diagrams and hookup procedures.
• Tests system operation and communicates with monitoring center.
• Reads building blueprints and electrical drawings as needed.
• Coordinates installations with authorities and handles notification records.
