Job summary

Idaho Milk Products in Jerome, Idaho seeks a Commercial Financial Accountant to support the Commercial and Finance teams with accurate reporting and insights. You will handle month-end close for Commercial and Administrative accounts and deliver meaningful reporting for the sales organization.

The role also backs core accounting tasks, develops Power BI dashboards, and collaborates across departments to drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration; concentration in Accounting preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
• Experience with Power BI dashboard development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end accounting tasks for Commercial and Administrative functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and deliver management reports as assigned.
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to support sales reporting and analysis.
• Prepare and maintain sales projections and inventory tracking reports.
• Provide backup support for the Accounts Receivable Specialist and other accounting team members as needed.
