Job summary

Richard, Wayne & Roberts seeks a Commercial Financial Analyst to manage the commercial finance process from project bidding and contract setup through execution, revenue recognition, forecasting, and reporting. This role collaborates with Operations, Commercial, Finance, Accounting, and Compliance to ensure accurate data, strong controls, and insightful financial analysis across ERP systems such as SAP.

Proficiency in Excel is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial finance, project accounting, FP&A, or contract administration.
• Experience bidding on projects, developing proposals, or supporting project pricing is required.
• ERP experience, preferably SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Revenue recognition or project accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support project bids, proposals, pricing, and contract development
• Manage contract and project setup, including WBS, work codes, billing, and financial structures
• Support revenue recognition, forecasting, billing, and project financial analysis
• Maintain accurate contract and project data across ERP and business systems
• Support SOX, audit, internal controls, and compliance requirements
• Develop financial reports, cash flow models, and forecasting tools
• Improve and automate processes using Excel, Power Query, VBA, or Power Automate
• Coordinate cross-functional projects and ensure deadlines are met
