Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our Malvern, PA team. You will prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates by analyzing blueprints and collaborating with architects, engineers and subcontractors to ensure project viability and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial estimating, proficiency in estimating software and MS Office, strong math and communication skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office suite.
• Strong math, analysis, and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects including materials, labor, equipment and overhead.
• Takeoffs from blueprints and specs to determine exact material needs.
• Analyze plans, specs, and site conditions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and subs for accurate estimates.
• Prepare pre-bid packages, budgets and schedules, assist in bids.
